Recommendations:
Work with monolingual dictionaries to study abbreviations, definitions and examples, use the dictionary to find out about pronunciation, to find grammatical information, some extra information about words, word combinations and phrases, try to use different ways of recording vocabulary, different ways of remembering vocabulary and extending it by yourself. Remember: Teachers are always ready to respond to learners’ individual language needs.
Task I.
a) Be sure you know the speech patterns of the lesson by heart and make up 15 sentences of your own with them.
b) go on working with the speech patterns and do Ex 22 p. 447 in writing. Ex 23 p. 448., Ex 24 p. 448 in writing.
c) Prepare 10 sentences of unreal condition referring to the present, for your group – mates to change them into sentences of unreal condition referring to the past at the lesson.
Task II.
a) Learn Vocabulary Notes at p. 49-52, Transcribe the new words and their synonyms.
b) Make up 20 sentences of your own using the new words.
c) Get sure you know pronunciation and meaning of the words from. Essential Voc-ry (I) and word – combinations at p. 54. do Ex 3 (a,b,c) p. 56.
d) Make up your own situation, using both the speech patterns and new lexical units.
