As you know, a metropolis is a very large city with a population of many millions. For example, such a famous metropolis as Tokyo is home to about forty million people.
Life in a metropolis is fast paced. There is a lot of competition around. Everyone wants to do better than others, and they continue to fight day and night to achieve their goal.
Metropolitan areas also offer good job opportunities. A person with a good education can get a high-paying job in a big city. The possibilities are endless if a person really wants to work. Likewise, metropolitan areas have all the modern amenities you need for a comfortable stay. However, earning a comfortable life equipped with all the modern conveniences can actually be quite stressful.
While city life can provide comfort, it does not guarantee peace. Several people move from villages to big cities to live better. While many of them can make good money and improve their lifestyles, they end up losing their calm in the mad rush of big cities.
