bility, unification, the use of tooling and tools, the designation of tolerances, the 
choice of materials, coatings, heat treatment, surface cleanliness, lubrication 
methods, etc. require thinking and solving precisely in the process of drawing a 
set of parts on the final layout drawing.
Among the issues whose solution is almost entirely applicable to the stage 
of drawing the final layout is the provision of manufacturability of the assembly 
as one of the components of the general criterion of manufacturability of the 
mechatronic module.
From the set of recommendations concerning the assembly and disassembly 
of devices, we single out one that is of a general nature: we should strive to 
assemble the parts as much as possible so that during the assembly and disas-
sembly of the mechatronic module, each subsequent part can be removed 
through the space released when the previous part is removed.
As the configuration of parts is refined, the possibilities of evaluating the 
reliability of their functioning by calculation are increased. The presence of a 
drawn set of parts and nodes allows a new analysis of the relationship with the 
environment not of the entire mechatronic module as a whole, but of each node, 
each detail separately.
When working out a set of parts on the final layout drawing, you should 
carefully check whether everywhere normalized or typical elements are used 
wherever possible.
The optimal from the point of view of ensuring reliability is a design in 
which typical, well-mastered in production blocks, modules, units, parts are 
applied. The complexity of the process of detailing causes a constant fear 
of prematureness of working out a particular assembly or part. Therefore, 
symmetric nodes and parts can be advantageously traced only on one side 
of the axis of symmetry, since in the process of detailing, several different 
versions of their construction may arise.
The same gradualness, caution in applying new lines characterized by 
the technique of drawing the final assembly of fasteners (bolts, screws, nuts, 
washers, pins, etc.) on the drawing. While the form of the screwed parts has not 
been finally determined, the fasteners are represented in the drawing only by 
their axial lines. Then work is done to unite fasteners to reduce their size. Only 
at the end of this work each fastener is drawn by standards.
The process of tracing parts as well as their hatching must be directional.
The sequence of the stroke of the final layout drawing basically coincides with 
the sequence of its drawing. Proceeding from the desire to leave the possibility

for maximum freedom of variation and timely correction of the final layout, 
one should not resort to shading before the end of the stroke.
The process of creating the final layout is not only a further development, 
but first and foremost the verification of the layout solution. Confidence in the 
rationality of the adopted layout does not come from the first steps of creating 
the final layout. It occurs only after the completion of most of the specified 
requirements in the design. It is at this point that the formation of the structure 
ends, in which both the schematic diagram and the requirements of the technical 
task are reflected, and the interrelationships of the mechatronic module with the 
environment, and the criteria for rationality, and much more.
