Annotation.
The article highlights materials on the contribution of Kazakhstanis to the victory of the Great Patriotic
War, in particular, on the formation on the land of Kazakhstan and the sending to the front of 12 rifle and 4 horse divisions,
7 rifle brigades, about 50 regiments and battalions that fought bravely in all major military campaigns (the defense of the
cities of Moscow, Leningrad, Stalingrad, the Battle of Kursk, the liberation from the fascist yoke of Belarus, Ukraine,
Eastern Europe, the hoisting of the Reichstag Victory Banner in Berlin, which was considered a fascist den at that time).
Along with the famous war heroes who made a huge contribution to the Victory, in order to bring the courage and heroism
of Soviet, including Kazakhstani athletes to the younger generation, the goal of military-patriotic educational events is to
glorify military affairs and other unknown warriors.
