Criterion of determination of levels of students 
B1 – the main level
The student can perform the following tasks on communication: 
- to understand professional terms on the specialty and to be able to use them at 
communication; 
- to understand the main idea of texts in the specialty, to express the opinion, to state orally 
the relation to this subject; to be able to make the short message by means of additional sources. 
The student is obliged to state in writing the thoughts of the profession and to tell about future 
specialty.
 
B2 – the main standard level
The student has to carry out the following tasks of language: 
- in the professional sphere to be able to use structural features of communication and to use 
in informal conversation; 
- to master the main regularities of language and to apply them on the specialty; 
- to be able to realize the acquired knowledge during educational process;

- to be able to inform intelligibly the listener of the thoughts of rather professional sphere; 
- to understand contents of the text on the specialty and to master printing information of 
media; 
- ability to express the thought to rather future specialty; 
- it is correct to express the thoughts in English and to give an assessment about the read 
material including professional terms; 
- independently make the story about the specialty.
 
C1-C2 – level is higher than the usual standard 
On the basis of this level the student has to carry out the following communicative tasks: 
To understand the fluent speech of speaking. To retell contents of the read scientific text. To 
make entries at meetings and conferences. To make recommendations in language about the 
specialty and to express the opinion. To write the report and article on the specialty and to defend 
the opinion. To write the essay on a scientific subject, to make the plan and to introduce the idea 
according to the report. 
Listening demands from the student an accurate statement of a thought concerning the 
written-down and heard material and: 
- to be able not understand, but also to master professional skills after listening of the text; 
to understand a monologue in which professional features of specialty are narrated; to catch 
the main idea and the main subject of the transmitted data; 
- during the official and business meeting to understand two or more interlocutors
