Note: it is possible not to assign the letter of the design documents, made in
the form of sketches. The letter of a full set of CD products is to be considered
the lowest of characters specified in the documents included in the kit. A
complete set of product documents should be listed in the main text of its
specification.
Technical proposal (TP) is a set of design documents that must contain
technical and feasibility study of the feasibility of developing product docu-
mentation based on technical specifications and different variants of possible
solutions
of the product, comparative evaluation of solutions taking into
account design and operational features of the developed and existing products
and patent research [13].
236
Develop technical proposal to identify additional or revised requirements to
the product (technical characteristics, quality indicators, etc.) that could not be
specified in the terms of reference and appropriate to be done on the basis of
preliminary design studies and analyses design options.
The technical proposal is the first stage of the layout of the product resulting
in a identify the relative location of its parts and dimensions.Technical proposal
after consideration and approval is the basis for the development of preliminary
(technical) the project.
Sketch design (SD) is a set of design documents containing the key design
decisions, giving a General idea about the device and principle of work products,
as well as data that identify the purpose, basic parameters and dimensions of
the developed product.
Sketch design is developed with the aim of establishing fundamental (con-
structive, schematic etc.) solutions products, giving
a General idea about the
operation principles and device products.
Product drawing represents a further development of the first phase of the
build, and should include 2-3 projections, and additional views, sections and
cross-sections.
After consideration and approval, the draft design serves as the basis for
the development of a technical design or working design documentation. A
technical project (TP) is a set of design documents that must contain the
final technical solutions that give an idea of the
design of the product being
developed and the initial data for the development of working documentation.
The technical project is designed to identify final technical solutions that
give a complete picture of the product design. If necessary, the technical design
may provide for the development of options for individual component parts of
the product. Choosing the best option in these cases is based on the tests of
prototypes of the product.
Technical project, containing a general arrangement drawing, statement of
the technical project, explanatory note, giving the full and final understanding
of the structure, interaction of components, operational and technical characte-
ristics of the product and explains how it works.
In the general drawing, the following should be:
a) depicts the views, sections and cross-section of products that are inscribed
and the text part that is essential to understanding the constructive
structure of the product, the interaction of its component parts and
principle of operation;
b) contains the name (if possible, and marking) of components of a product,
which explains the working principle, technical characteristics, specify
the material, the number of those component parts of the product, which
237
describes
how it works, explains the images of the General form and
composition of the product;
c) given the required dimensions and, if required, scheme (e.g., kinematic)
products, specifications and technical requirements.
A schema is a graphic design document, in which the component parts
of the product and the connections between them are shown in the form of
conditional images or notations.
Depending on the types of elements and
bonds that make up the product,
the schemes are divided into the following types, denoted by letters: electric –
E; hydraulic – H; pneumatic – P; gas (except pneumatic) – G; kinematic – K;
vacuum – V; optical – O; power – F; division – D; combined – C.
Depending on the main purpose of the scheme is divided into the following
types, denoted by numbers: structural – 1; functional – 2; principal – 3; com-
pounds – 4; сonnections – 5; common – 6; locations – 7; combined – 0.
The name and code of the circuit is determined by its view and type, for
example, the kinematic principle circuit is
K3
, the hydropneumatic function
diagram is
HP2
, the electrical circuit is schematic and the connections are
E0
.
Explanatory note (EN) is made when developing a technical proposal, a
draft and technical projects. It should list the characteristics of the selected
equipment
and non-standard equipment, the results of calculations should
preferably be presented in tabular form.
In the General case, the explanatory note to the technical project shall
consist of the following sections: contents, introduction, description of product,
key decisions, feasibility study and estimated
cost capital costs equipment,
provision of energy resources and fulfillment of requirements related to
automation and mechanization, research, development and experimental work,
guidelines for the preparation and implementation of the project, applications.
To the documentation for the project include graphic documents (drawings,
