Technical Moments Here are some personal notes on the experiences we and our clients had applying to the dream universities. It is often interesting to research how to write essays, but there are some technical aspects that equally contribute to your success. Besides writing, your success with supplemental essays also consists of careful planning and efficient storing.
We strongly encourage you to use a to-do list to store your tasks regarding essays. To get started with this:
Take the list of your universities and write down all of the essays you would need to write for them
Divide them into types of essays we mentioned above
Here, it is important to note that it is necessary for you to NOT rewrite all of the essays over and over again. Once you have a polished response on each type of the essay, you can tailor it to other universities and save a LOT of time. Put all of the essays into a to-do list and approach each university one at a time
In order to properly store the essays, we recommend using Google Docs and Google Drive. Create a folder for your supplemental essays and store the Google Docs there. Google Docs are super convenient in terms of sharing and commenting on.
