Annotation. Echocardiography is one of the most accessible and effective methods for measuring the functional fitness of
athletes and identifying pathological changes in the cardiovascular system. The purpose of this study was to study the
morphological and functional indicators of the cardiovascular system among 18 athletes involved in Greco-Roman at the age
of 22-33 years old males on the basis of the World Boxing Academy, Almaty. The studies revealed 1 case of myocardial
remodeling, which proves the importance of echocardiographic screening for early diagnosis and the prevalence of borderline
changes in the cardiovascular system among professional athletes.
