Relevance.
Thyroid diseases are one of the actual problem of modern
endocrinology. Many researchers noted an increase in the number of patients with thyroid
nodal pathology due to the influence of various anthropogenic factors, improved
diagnostics as a result of usage of modern diagnostic technologies. During ultrasound
scans, thyroid nodes are found in 19-
68% of randomly selected individuals, and more
often in women and in the elderly.
