Ryzhik belongs to red grain varieties of a special purpose, it is consumed unpolished.
After cooking it gets dense texture of reddish-brown kernels, enriched in vitamins B,
E, PP & D, dietary fiber and antioxidants.
It is recommended for cooking nutritious side dishes combined with meat and
vegetable ingredients, casseroles, meatballs, fruit and vegetable salads.
