Grain and milled rice quality, cooking properties. Grain is medium-sized,
semi-round. Caryopsis length to breadth ratio (
l/b ): 2.3. Husk can be easily removed
without breaking the grain (no strong bond between flower film and caryopsis). 1000
grain weight is 30–31 g. Translucency is 86–90 %. Total milled rice: 69–70 %, head
rice: 95 %. Protein content: 9.9 %, amylose content: 19.8 %.
Milled rice is silver-white, characterized by high level of water absorption and por-
ridge volume gain. While cooking kernel keeps the shape and has a loose consistency.
It is suitable for cooking soups, porridges, etc. The variety is also recommended for
cooking pilaf.
