Annotation: The article considers the definition of the principle of sovereign equality of States, its relationship with the concept of "state immunity" and cases of restrictions in civil proceedings. As we know, in the modern world, States enter into various foreign trade transactions on their own behalf, and in this connection, the question of state immunity arises. Despite many changes taking place in the world, state sovereignty is the basis of the constitutional system of any state, its independence, which occupies a significant place in domestic and foreign policy.
