In monetary terms, agricultural production in 2020 amounted to
more than 6.1 trillion tenge. At the same time, it should also be noted
that in 2020, the price growth in the agricultural sector exceeded 11
percent.
In 2020, there was an epidemic of coronavirus all over the world and
in our republic. But despite the crisis, the amount of gross agricultural
output increased during this period.
The growth in agricultural, forestry and fi sheries production in 2020
is due to an increase in crop production by more than 7 percent.
The increase in agricultural production in January-October 2020
compared to the same period in 2019 was registered in 14 regions of
the republic (Table 2).
