Cultivation area.
In 2000 the variety entered the State register of breeding
achievements eligible for use in the North Caucasus region.
Breeding method.
The variety was bred with the use of single plant selection
from F3 hybrid population Kulon/Kuban 3//Belozerny with two-fold reselection in a
breeding nursery.
The variety belongs to the middle-late-ripening group. Growing season lasts
120–125 days.
Botanical and morphological characteristics.

. The variety is awnless. Glumes are bicolored: costae are straw-colored;
faces are brown-yellow, slightly hirsute. The shrub is dense; stalk is thick, highly firm.
Plant height is 90–95 cm. Panicle is dense, erect, 13–15 cm long. Spikelet sterility is
low: 3–5 %.
