World Bank’s fertility
rate data shows that in
the
Kyrgyz
Republic in 2007 there are 2.7 births (to 1000 births) per women and after 10 years this
number increased to 3.0. Moreover, Kazakhstan’s fertility rate increased from 2.5 births
per women in 2007 to 2.73 in 2017, while Russia’s fertility rate increased from 1.42 births
per women in 2007 to 1.76 in 2017. That means that general trend of fertility in post
-
soviet
countries has been increased. However, in the USA fertility rate has been decreased from
2.12 births per women to
1.77. There were 150 respondents in the survey, where the one
-
sixth was female sex. The main question in this survey was “If there will be a situation
where you need to do IVF, what can stop you?”

As the majority (37%) of respondents are from Kazakhstan, it can be pretended that the
main barrier in Kazakhstan is cost.

Conclusion
: In conclusion, the purpose of this paper was to determine which
barriers related to IVF can be considered as paramount. Three obstacles have been
evaluated as the most pressing to society regarding In Vitro Fertilization: religion, society,
and cost. Survey results show that cost is the main problem in these counties as IVF has a
high price and not everyone can afford it.
