| My favourite TV channels
My favorite channel is Discovery. I have been watching this channel since childhood and I must say that thanks to this, my perception of the world has become wider. I learned a lot of interesting things from the fields of science, technology and history. In fact, Discovery is available in a variety of languages. So when I want to improve my listening skills, I watch it in Spanish. This channel was launched in 1985 in the USA. Initially, it consisted only of documentary programs of a popular science orientation. However, it later expanded to reality television and soon became one of the best documentary channels in the world.
In addition to a series of scientific documentaries, the channel has several programs aimed at a young audience. Today Discovery is watched in 170 countries around the world. This is a commercial channel, so we pay a monthly fee for it. In my opinion, such channels are not only entertaining, but also very educational. Unfortunately, I am allowed to watch TV for no more than two hours a day. All I can see is just a couple of programs. My favorites are the MythBusters and How Does It Work?
