Kazakhstan in the future Kazakhstan has a lot of oil and natural gas. These are important for industry and transport, and for heating homes and schools. A lot of countries don’t have their own oil and gas, so Kazakhstan will be important in the future – it will supply other countries with the oil and gas they need. But one day we’ll need new forms of energy. We already have some hydro – electric power stations in Kazakhstan. May be in the future we’ll need solar power too.
