Abstract: The questions related to the effective use of such forms of extracurricular work as a literary-regional
association are examined in the article. Within the framework of realization of new educational standards work with
student in a literary-regional association opens large possibilities to both the teacher and his pupils. The correctly
organized work of literary-regional association supposes the use of enormous amount of the modern methods sent to
development and perfection of the system of educational actions of student.
