Relevance.
The health status of the population is a very accurate indicator of the socio -
economic development of the country as a whole. The state has significantly reduced
opportunities for free medical care to the population. In the Republic, the principle of financing
hospitals and polyclinics, depending on volume indicators (the number of beds, medical
personnel, etc.), without ta
king into account the quality of real work, that is, the quality of
treatment, is preserved. Everyone at least once had to pay extra for certain medical services in

medical institutions. There are state medical institutions where medical services are free,
but in fact it turns out that in order to receive proper medical care, you also need to pay extra.
Nowadays, many paid clinics have appeared with a wide range of services provided, with
the help of which a person can solve his health problems. Prices for paid medical services are
different everywhere and most often are not available for everyone. There are state polyclinics
where medical services are free. Both in those and in other clinics, the approach to the patient
must meet the standards of medical care of the population. The problem of this study is the
advantages and disadvantages of paid and free medical care, as well as the need to change the
existing situation in the field of health care.
Objective:
study the problems of medical services for the population of the Republic of
Kazakhstan;
understand and identify the main aspects influencing the prevention of the
development of medicine in Kazakhstan;
аnalyze the health care system;
give a general description of paid and free medical services;
analyze publications in the media devoted to this problem.
