The experiment involved 2 groups: a group of 9 "a" classes, consisting of 14 people and a group of 9 "b" classes, consisting of 12 people. In the first group a lesson was conducted using authentic video material, and in the second group - a lesson in traditional form. During the period of experimental training, students learned the topic “Present Perfect”. In the process of learning, students had already encountered this topic, so before the start of the experiment it was necessary to determine the residual level of knowledge. To determine this level, groups needed to complete a series of tasks.
