Purpose of discipline: Familiarity with the current performance of the immune system of humans and animals. Familiarity with the main organs of the immune system and the cells involved in the immune response.
Course description: to understand and analyze the mechanism of the immune response, to use knowledge about violations of the functioning of the immune system and knowledge about the factors of immune storage systems in professional activities. Implementation of preventive measures to prevent the spread of infectious and non-communicable diseases.
Prerequisites: Microbiology
Postrequisites: Genetic engineering
Expected learning outcomes of the subject (LOS):
LOS 1 - know the functions and structure of the human immune system. Knowledge of age-related features of the immune system, cellular molecular mechanisms, development of the immune system;
LOS 2 – understanding the role of the immune cellular response in the immune response with its humoral mechanization;
LOS 3 - be able to assess the level of organization of the human immune system and characterize it
