The University of Cambridge was founded in 1209 and is one of the oldest European educational institutions. For many centuries it has retained its status as one of the best universities in the world. It is located in the city of Cambridge in the UK. The university teaches students in 28 courses. Students are offered a variety of humanitarian specialties, which are chosen by more than half of the students. Scientific specialties are also presented in the program. It was in Cambridge that the DNA model was created and the beginning of molecular biology. The university teaches 18 thousand students, about 20% of whom come here from other countries.
