IN THE SCHOOL INNOVATIONS: THE PREPARATION CONTEXT
OF A FUTURE EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGIST 
 
Abstract
 
The article shows the problem of the future educational psychologist‘s preparation for psychological and pedagogical 
support of the educational process in the innovative conditions of a school education. It considers that the innovative processes 
in the school, along with the developing influence on the personality of students, causes a number of psychological difficulties 
in the organization of academic work. Also, the importance of psychological and pedagogical support of educational process 
in the conditions of implementation of pedagogical innovations is underlined. The article points out that in the practice of 
higher education of future educational psychologist is still not paid attention to the formation of their preparation for 
psychological and pedagogical support of the educational process in the conditions of innovative education. The essence and 
peculiarities of the preparation of future pedagogical psychologists for the psychological and pedagogical support of the 
educational process in the conditions of innovative transformations in the school are specified. 
The urgency, scientific and applied significance of studying the problem of future psychologists‘ preparation for 
psychological and pedagogical support of the educational process in the conditions of the school innovative development is 
substantiated. Basing on the analysis of scientific literature and advanced pedagogical experience, the organizational and 
pedagogical conditions for the preparation of future pedagogical psychologists for psychological and pedagogical support of 
the educational process in the innovative and educational school environment are revealed. The school psychologist‘ work in 
the direction of psychological and pedagogical support of the educational process in the context of the implementation of

pedagogical innovations is considered as a methodological basis for developing a model for the preparation of future 
educational psychologist for this activity aspect.
