Scientific novelty and theoretical significance of the research:
- defined theoretical basis of the formation of professional and artistic competence of future teachers on the basis of the Kazakh national applied art: pedagogical nature and significance of applied art, the concept of "professional and artistic competence of future teachers;
- a theoretical model of professional and artistic skills of future teachers on the basis of the Kazakh national applied art;
- defined criteria and indicators of professional and artistic competence of future teachers;
- developed a method of forming a professional-artistic competence of future teachers in weaving cheegrass Kazakhs as a kind of Kazakh national applied art.
