Annotation.
The increasing competition in international sports dictates the necessity to find new ways to improve the
training of highly qualified athletes in order to achieve world-class sports results.

The article is devoted to the urgent problem
of optimizing the structure of the pre-competition stage in the preparation of highly qualified rowers on kayak and canoe.

The
study aims are to improve the athletic achievements at the highest level among highly qualified kayak and canoeists by

In general, conclusions are drawn up that the proposed experimental author
structure of the pre-competition stage is very effective for achieving the research goal.
