Annotation On the basis of long-term information and analytical materials of stationary observations on the
network of RSE «Kazgidromet», that is, six meteorological stations located on the drainage basin of the
Usek river basin using integral criteria characterizing the bioclimatic and ecological productivity of the
natural system, the climatic potential and energy resources are determined, and also heat and moisture
supply of natural landscapes to identify their regional differences. To determine the resource potential of
the catchment area of the Usek river basin, climatic indicators were used as potentially important predictors,
including the sum of biologically active temperatures (
