• Why is youth unemployment becoming a big problem in
Kazakhstan?
• How can we solve the problem of youth unemployment in
Kazakhstan?
The outcomes of the research were intended to understand the
importance of the problem, increase understanding about youth
unemployment and find out the actions to decrease the level of
unemployment in our country.
Methodology The information was conducted by analyzing secondary resources.
I used the Internet to find an appropriate information because as I wrote
before government not accept this problem as it needs, so even on the
Internet there are only several information and I needed fresh data.
Mostly this is a social problem, so I picked information from official
sites of magazines and newspapers. I did not find any books or sources
in the library, which can be useful for answering my research questions.
As a secondary source, I used The Guardian, ArticleKz, PavlodarNews,
yvision, trading economics and etc.
Next step on my research will be analyzing primary sources by both
quantitative and qualitative types of conducting the information because
mixed methods will help to strengthen the overall quality of the research
and to increase confidence in the conclusions. Firstly, I will do an online
survey using the app SurveyMonkey, because it is very useful. The only
thing that I need is emails of people or even just accounts on the social
network. It gives an opportunity to survey not only people from my school
or my town but the people from the whole Kazakhstan. So, I will send
my link to survey to minimum 5 people from one region of our country
and I will try to survey every region. Respondents will be taken from the
age 16-58. Even if I am writing about youth unemployment, I will survey
people of this ages, because It is important to know their points of view
and perspectives. For example, older people’s attitudes to this problem
can differ from teenagers’ or middle age people, Nevertheless, they also
worried by this problem, because they have children and grandchildren,
who can suffer from it, so they aware about this problem.
What about an interview, first of all, I will take an interview from
2 students: one, who is studying at school and one, who is already
graduated and studying at the university. I am planning to interview
students because they will be affected by this problem and it is important
to assess their awareness and understanding of the problem. Also, I will
go to the Department of Employment and Social Problems of Pavlodar
and speak with them. I chose to interview them, because I want to ask
them about the productivity of their work, get information how often
unemployed people consult them, pick up some new information about
the problem and know their opinion about the relevance of it. Before
taking an interview I should fill consent form. Then, after taking an
interview I will analyze my conducted primary resource. I decided to use
the qualitative method because I am afraid of feeling lack of high-quality
information because all of us know that not a lot of people answer survey
questions honestly and give full answers, sometimes people are lazy to
do it or not perceive it in full serious.
