5.1 Basic concepts of reliability
Reliability – object property (products) to save time within the established
all parameters, ensuring the required functions in given conditions [22].
Modern mechatronic modules consist of a number of interacting mechanical,
Electromechanical, electronic and information devices. The failure of even one
element of this complex system may lead to malfunction of the entire mecha-
tronic module.
In reliability theory consider the following generalized object:
product unit
of the products manufactured by this company, shop, etc.
(e.g. bearing, gear wheel, motor mechatronic module mechatronic device,
an indus-trial robot);
