Grain and milled rice quality, cooking properties. 1000 grain weight at a standard
moisture — 34–35 g., grain hardness is rather high — 90–95 %, filminess 18–19 %,
milling yield 69–70 %, head rice content — 80–90 %. Milled rice is white.
Recommended for cooking side dishes, pilaf, Italian and Spanish food (risotto,
paella).
Tolerance to stress factors. Resistant to blast, medium resistant to nematode.
Yield. Potential yield 8–9 t/ha.
Individual features. Variety may be grown with various irrigation regimes. Doesn’t
shatter at overmature standing. May be harvested by both separate and direct harvesting.
