the importance and signifi cance of the topic under study. Researchers
Mahsood Shah, Anna Bennett, Erica Southgate (2015) analyze the
relationship between implemented policies and higher education,
as well as its impact on the social and economic sphere in diff erent
countries – Brazil, China, Indonesia, Palestine, and others. Mahsood
Shah, Quyen Do (2017) review the improvement of quality assurance
in the higher education system in Asia and analyze quality assurance
systems, processes, standards, and internal and external monitoring.
Mahsood Shah and Chenicheri Sid Nair (2016) write that, from a global
perspective, private higher education has shown signifi cant growth in
many parts of the world over the past decade, leading to changes in
public policy and its impact on the continued growth of this sector of the
