society. Efficiency in communication forms the basis of successful
professional activity, solving personal, family and domestic problems,
self actualization in the public and political spheres.
At the same time, two opposite tendencies are observed in
interpersonal communication. On the one hand, the last 10-15 years
have seen the strengthening of "communication" (business exchange
of information) not only in the professional sphere, where it is
generally normal and justified, but also in family and intimate
personal relationships, where it is often devastating. Obviously, the
role of direct communication is weakening - many business
negotiations are conducted virtually, via the Internet and telephone
communications. On the other hand, in business interaction, there
appeared a tendency to include elements of "non-talking" to improve
the psychological climate in the team forming an effective cohesive
team, goods and services, etc. People experience a shortage of "live
communication", and inclusion in this type of communication is a
powerful motivator for productive work or the purchase of services.
One way or another, mastering the skills of business and non-business
communication is the most important condition for the full-fledged
existence of a modern person, and these skills must be formed already
from school age.
Communicative competence includes basically a number of
important technological skills that can be trained in specially
organized conditions, for example, in training.
