4. "Options for communication"

participants of the game.  Each player can compare his version of the
retelling  with  the  original.  As  a  rule,  in  the  process  of  retelling,  the
original information is distorted. This fact should be discussed with all
participants of the seminar.
Possible story for the game "Rumors":
"I  walked  around  the  covered  cooperative  market  when  I  saw
police  cars  stopping  at  all  doors,  next  to  me  there  were  two  people
who seemed suspicious to me, one looked very worried and the other
frightened."  The  first  grabbed  my  arm  and  pushed  me  inside  the
trading hall. "Pretend you're my child," he whispered, and I heard the
policeman  shout,  "They're  here!"  And  the  whole  militia  ran  towards
us. "I'm not the man you're looking for," said the man who held me , -
I just went shopping with my son. "" How did he do it? " "His name is
Sergey," said one man, while the other said, "His name is Kolya." The
policemen  realized  that  these  men  do  not  know  me,  they  made  a
mistake.  They  ran  into  the  woman's  counter,  apples  and  vegetables
rolled around everywhere, I saw some of my friends picking them up
and putting them in their pockets, and the men ran through the door on

the  side  of  the  building  and  stopped.  They  were  expected  by  about
twenty policemen. I was wondering what they had done. Perhaps this
is due to the mafia. "
Discussion:  What  difficulties  did  you  encounter  while  receiving
and  transmitting  information  (if  any)?  What  happens  to  the
communication of people in case of information distortion? With what
can you compare the options for retelling the story?
