The major mission of the institution is to promote the enhancement of the touristic cluster within South Kazakhstan region. The Department is aimed to improve conditions for the touristic industry growth as well as to attract investments to this particular sphere, create the positive touristic image of the region and contribute to the development of this sector at both domestic and international touristic markets. The Touristic Information Center “Ontustik Tourism Center”, established under the Department, provides One-Stop Shop services to all residents and guests of the region. The Center offers assistance of travel agencies representatives, shipping companies, tourist guides and migration services specialists.
