Phenomenon of a horse in traditional culture of Kazakh people

Urgency of the theme of the research. No other animal from rich fauna has played such big role in history of civilizations, as horse. Advanced horse- nomadic civilization with its rich material and cultural values in greater degree has been connected with horseman (horseman and horse were as one unity), horseman - toiler, horseman - creator, horseman - soldier. Kazakhs appeared at the historical stage together with horses, and the horse always was their true friend and protector, who helped them to overcome all difficulties both in daily economic - household life, and on a field of battle. People of Kazakhstan, especially Kazakhs of Mongolia and China, who always lived in rigorous climate and had nomadic economy, have preserved until our days one of the most ancient cultural tradition - contact with horses. As today’s Kazakhs graze, catch, find lost horses by traces - so treated their horses ancient Sakhs-Scythians, Hunns, Turkis, Kipchacks, Mongols and other people who presented horses to the world. In the dissertation ancient experience of treatment and contact of Kazakhs with horse, sign figure for nomads, is described in detail. Material world, spiritual sphere, traditions, rituals, customs, world outlook, music, common law, training, military art - all these segments of traditional culture become clear at their consideration through the prism of "horse". The horse here acts as a peculiar key to understanding of culture of Kazakhs - nomads.
