Abstract.
The article deals with the status and the role of social com-
munication in the light of modern biomedical research. The attention is
focused on the need for a professional attitude to the representation in the
media of modern science in the field of biomedicine, mechanisms of ethical
regulation of scientific research and provide humanistic expertise used in
biomedical and nanotechnology.
