The basic sources in this dissertation are taken from such funds:
- The Kazakh shezhires that are kept in the department of the rare editions and manuscripts of the Central Scientific Library of Kazakhstan (from there we have investigated 32 manuscripts);
- The Kazakh shezhires that in the department Textology of М.О. Auezov Institute of the Literature and Art (from there we have investigated 21 manuscripts);
- The Kazakh shezhires that in that are kept in different family archives;
- The Kazakh shezhires that in the shezhires that have been published;
