This dissertation is the first scientific research in the historiography of Kazakhstan on the Kazakh Shezhere.
The object of the research is the complex of sources known in the science under the name "the Kazakh shezhires", in which meanings of "family tree", "memory", "genealogy" are included. While some of them are still kept in the traditional oral form. For the reason that the shezhires has not been treated as historical sources in the scientific world, the subject of the dissertation is new. It is meaningful and actual to carry out scientific research on this topic
