2.6 According to the main functional characteristics: • the number of digits;
• speed;
• accuracy of conversion;
• power consumption.
3.
Power converters (PC) – are devices intended for supply and conversion
of electrical energy to engines and are impulse end power amplifiers. Depending
on the type and power of the motor in the power converters:
• Bipolar transistors with isolated gate (IGBT);
•
power polar
transistors (MOSFET);
• MOSFETs.
4.
Motion controllers are specialized microcontrollers for controlling
vari-
ous
types of motors. Depending on the type of motor, motion controllers for
controlling motors:
• direct current;
• alternating current;
• stepper.
A characteristic feature of the controllers is the possibility feedback signals
about the position and speed of the output link of the mechatronic module using
feedback sensors. The processing of signals from the sensors is carried out by
the hardware of the motion controller, which simplifies its programming and
allows reducing the processing time of the feedback signals.
5.
Information devices (ID) or information sensors – a set of hardware and
software designed to obtain information about the external environment and the
internal state of the object. They convert the monitored value into a signal that
is convenient for measuring, transmitting, converting, storing and recording,
and for influencing them on controlled processes.
The sensors are divided into a number of key indicators.
5.1 By kind of energy: • electrical;
• mechanical;
• pneumatic.
172 5.2 By the nature of the modulation of the energy flux: • amplitude;
• time-impulse;
• frequency;
• phase;
• discrete (code).
