5.3 By type of output signal: • analog;
• digital.
5.4 By the nature of the location of the object: • Absolute;
• Relative.
In the mechatronic modules, position, displacement, speed, acceleration,
force, moment sensors are most widely used, as well as sensors for information
on the current values of electric currents and voltages in power converters.
They can be built on different principles with the use of different types of
energy, the nature of its modulation, the type of output signal, etc.
6.
Motors (M) – are converters of electrical, pneumatic hydraulic, etc.
energy into the mechanical. They are:
• electrical;
• pneumatic;
• hydraulic;
• other.
The widest application in mechatronic modules was found by electric
motors – electrotechnical converters of electrical energy into mechanical ones:
• angular and linear motion;
• constant and alternating (synchronous and asynchronous) current;
• collector and valve;
• continuous movement and stepping.
In the future we will consider mechatronic modules only with electric
motors.
7.
Motion transducers (MT) – mechanisms, intended to convert one type
of traffic to another, approvals speeds and rotating moments of the engine and
output mechatronic module.
Types of motion transducers:
• serrated (cylindrical, conical, rack, planetary, wave, worm, etc.);
• screw (sliding, rolling-ball screw and roller screw; differential, integral);
• belt (flat and v-belt, toothed belt);
• chain;
173 • forging;
• maltese;
• other.
The main functional characteristics of the motion transducers:
7.1 Type of motion of the output link: • progressive;
• rotational.
