INFLUENCE OF THE EUROPEAN SYSTEM ON TANZIMATS REFORM AND MUSTAFA RESHID PASHA In the history of the Ottoman Empire, the 20th century went down in history called the "Age of Reform." The Empire tried to rebuild its former forces and follow modern political and historical processes. The main reason for this is that the empire lagged behind the nearest European empire in many spheres. The Empire experienced a political, economic and social crisis, which was the main factor in the recession. European empires, considered on the same level as the Ottoman Empire, have now overtaken it in all spheres. Therefore, the best way out of such a crisis is through international public reforms. One of them was the reforms of Tanzimat. Mustafa Reşid Paşa's political influence on the implementation of Tanzimat reforms was immeasurable. Reform was mainly to be implemented in Western form. This scientific article analyzes the influence of the European system on the adoption of the reforms of Tanzimat in the Ottoman Empire.
