Resume:
Thin descending and ascending knees of juxtamadullar nephrons are very closely located at the entrance in the
brain substance and at the outlet from it; so movement on them is counter-current. In the brain substance of the kidney
there is another - a vascular countercurrent system, formed by blood capillaries. Counterclockwise - multiplying mechanism
with a loop Henle having a special design provide the concentration function of the kidneys is reliable. However, kidney
damage can cause many diseases (diabetes, hypertension, glomerulonephritis, etc.) which initially involve only one nephron
segment in the process and along with it blood vessels, glomeruli, tubules and reduce the functions of this nephron. When
this happens, the size of the kidney is usually reduced, the kidneys lose their normal architectonics.
