and easy work, that not at all could do it, therefore it should become
one of the most valuable and high-paying occupations.
In this project, I am planning to distinguish features of exactly this
profession. Furthermore, at the end of my research, I will be aware of
the ways of increasing requirements for teachers as it is a significant
issue that is spread throughout regions. In addition, this project might
help me in the future job.
What differences do exist between teachers of our country and
of developed countries? There are many developed countries but in
order to be more precise, I took several certain countries like Japan
and Germany. Further, I decided to consider the difference in salary,
obligations of teachers during their schedule and respect from the side
of parents and students.
From own experiences, every student in the school noticed that there
is a big list of obligations of teachers. During their work as a teacher,
they have to influence children developing only their strengths. Also,
they have to conduct conversations with parents in an aim to give the
full characterization of their child including data about achievements and
marks. Teachers must create some rules, discipline among students. They
should be able to work with the computer. The duties written above are
related to all teachers working at different part of the world.
In the beginning, we have to discover duties of teachers in our
country. I had found a document that expounded an order of the Minister
of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan adopted from
the 13th July 2009 [3]. This information gives full obligations of the
teaching profession in Kazakhstan. According to the document they
systematically have to promote their professional qualifications. Teachers
must participate in the activities of methodological associations and in
other forms of methodical work. Teachers must be aware of basic rules
of the country like the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the
Labor Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Code of the Republic
of Kazakhstan on Marriage (Family) and the Family, the laws of the
Republic of Kazakhstan on Education and other normative legal acts that
determine the directions and prospects for the development of education,
the method of teaching the subject, educational work, training facilities
and others.
As of January 1, 2017, the wage of the education system in the
country was about 99 thousand tenge [4]. For a teacher with an experience
of over 25 years with the highest category for today, the official salary is
83 thousand tenge, his co-payment for various types of the additional load
is stipulated at the amount of 25 thousand tenges, plus 24 thousand tenges
he will have an additional payment for the updated content. In general,
it will receive 133 thousand tenges. The government of Kazakhstan is
taking some actions, activities, directed to increasing salary of teachers.
For example, administration prepared salary increase schedule approved
by the state program for the development of education and science until
2019. Furthermore, a system of additional payments for teachers will be
introduced soon, which will take into account the level of qualifications:
the categories will be awarded through the national qualification test,
depending on the confirmed qualification, the surcharge will be from
20 to 50 %.
In Germany, the entire school curriculum consists of primary
education, the first stage of secondary school and second stage of
secondary school and the time of the future teacher’s training depends
on the type of school education, in the field of which the teacher plans
to teach [5]. For each of these levels of training, special principles for
training teachers are provided. As an example: people, who teach students
of first four grades, the teacher should be educated about 7 semesters.
At the same time, the main emphasis is made on the study of general
pedagogical and didactic subjects. Teacher of classes starting from the
fifth and ending with the ninth has to receive education about 7 semesters
too, however, he will widely and deeply study the main subjects, and
get an extended syllabus. If the person wants to give knowledge in high
schools he must have a master’s or bachelor’s degree, which can be
acceptable after attending 10 semesters. These teachers can also work
in vocational schools and in evening schools.
The amount of salary and the period of studying in schools depends
on lands or regions in Germany. Compared to other states, the wages
of German teachers are quite high. Teachers of schools get from 3 to
5 thousand euros per month (the amount is indicated without paying
taxes) and it depends on the land in which the teacher works, on the
work experience, on what level he has and where he works. For instance,
a beginner primary school teacher in the state of Baden-Württemberg
receives 3,400 euros, and the same teacher with 20 years of experience
can count on 4,184 euros of a monthly salary. A gymnasium teacher in
the same region at the beginning of his career can count on 4000, after
having served 20 years in this role - at 4,600 euros.
In Japan, there are three types of schools - junior schools, secondary
schools and high schools [6]. In junior schools, six years of study, starting
with seven, in the middle and senior for three years. Thus, the full school
