part separately. Unlike it, people left-handers process information, using
«synthesis» looking at whole and trying to use compliance of a sample
to solve a problem. Left-handers are forced to adapt and got used to
it therefore, as a result better and quicker, than right-handed persons,
can find a way out or the fact that it is necessary for them, adapt to any
conditions. It is a little more difficult for left-handers, than to right-handed
persons to remember the directions of the course of hour hands, to learn
to determine time by the dial, to master the concepts «left», «right»,
«above», «below» [5].
In general, at the lefthander the right hand is involved and developed
much more, than left at right-handed persons, is a need. Lefthanders
should develop the right hands even if they aren’t forced as earlier to write
with the right hand. An example, a computer mouse, doors which open
absolutely inconveniently for left-handers, public transport, corkscrews
and other tools, it is possible to list infinitely, but even lefthanders don’t
pay attention to it - they adapted. Besides, it is simpler to left-handers
to master what demands participation of two hands, with the relevant
amendments, of course.
Some researchers believe that being lefties and righties a complex
collaboration between genes and environment. There isn’t a distinct gene
that indicates left-handedness; however, there is a difference between
brain capabilities in righties and lefties [6]. Chris McManus, a professor
of psychology and medical education at University College London, told
Scientific American that left-handed people do not have a higher IQ than
those who are right dominant. In fact, there is a slightly higher proportion of
lefties that have dyslexia or a speech impediment. McManus explains it as
due to a fundamental difference in the brain structure depending on which
hand is dominant. While lefties may have speech issues, left-handers’ brains
allow them to process language, spatial relations, and emotions in more
creative ways which is the reason there is a high percentage of musically
and mathematically inclined lefties than there are righties [2].
The purpose of the research is to identify differences of left and
right-handers in personal abilities, the features that make them similar
