Synonyms and antonyms
: It is better to apply and use them with concepts already 
known to the child. 
Phraseologisms are often used with a graphic representation of a literal translation, 
connection with one's native language, further formulation of figurative meanings with 
demonstration of examples. 
Vocabulary Matching Helps students implement word semantization through 
simultaneous matching in English-Russian, Russian-English, and 
explanatory dictionaries [Rogova 1991: 103]. 
Language Guess
: It happens with the help of the presence in all languages of 
international vocabulary, the sound of the word, as well as the context of the statement. 
"False Friends of the Translator" It involves the use of a linguistic guess, after which there 
should be a serious analysis and correlation of the meanings and features of the use of words in 
both languages, examples of illustrations and situations when they should be used. 
Systematic semantization based on drawing
: Every detail that gives any meaning is 
used, without translation. The drawing may represent a plan of a house, a situation in a public 
place. The words themselves can be indicated in the figure or around him. 
Self-semantization
: Drawing is used again. It is carried out by students on the condition 
that many of the words are already known to them. Students can use dictionaries, it is better to 
have a list of words given along with the picture. Elimination Technique Students learn the 
meaning of a word by matching, as a new word is given a few words in English that do not 
match the meaning of the input word at all. Substituting a suitable word from the data series The 
data series must contain words that are not suitable in context and in meaning, while the new 
word is semantized in the context. Replacing a word in the native language in a foreign utterance 
based on a choice corresponding to a series of data [Machkhelyan, 1989: 55].
