The Department is involved in the development and implementation of the Government policy in the field of tourism. Address the issue of development of tourism infrastructure, promotion of region’s tourist product. Together with the organisations concerned, the Department maintains international and internal tourist ties, ensures participation in international and national tourist fairs and exhibitions, preparation for and holding of regional tourist events. Within its competence, the Department coordinates activities of tourism management authorities.
