combination Emerald/Zi Dao.

. With colored pericarp. Panicles, stigmas and caryopses are of
purple-black (antocian) color till ripening stage. Stem nods have purple-black color
for all growing period. During ripening panicle ribs have straw yellow color and panicle
edges — brownish color. Upper spikelets may have awns, 1–2 mm in length. Glumes
are 3–4 mm in size, pointed. Ligula is wide with sharp tips split in 2 parts, up to 1.5 cm
long. Pericarp is colored in black and purple color, endosperm is also black — violet
color, has no chalky spots in the center.
Plant height — 80–90 cm. Bush is vertical, dense. Stalk is thick, soilid, with nods
of antocyte color. Leaves are dark green. Length of flag leaf — 20–25 cm, other
leaves — 35–45 cm. Panicle length — 18–22 cm, carries up to 150 spikelets, panicle
density — 7 pcs/cm. Spikelet sterility 6–8 %.
