Cultivation area. In 2010 entered State register of protected breeding achieve-
ments, in 2015 entered State register of protected breeding achievements permitted
for use in North-Caucasian region.
Breeding method. Bred with a method of individual selection from variety Jupiter,
which was obtained from a complex hybrid population:
K-5287/8356//Azros 1713///Bolshevik/Raduga///L-80, followed by checking
the progeny.
Belongs to medium-ripening group. Duration — 120–122 days.
Botanic and morphological characteristics. Botanical variety —
var. italicа Alef.
Glumes are straw yellow colored, slightly pubescent, no awns. Plants belong to short-
stalked type, plant height — 85–90 cm. Panicles are large, erect, semi-condensed,

slightly drooping at the end of vegetation. Number of spikelets in panicle — 155–175
pcs., with low sterility (5–6 %).
