  • understand the moral of the story

  • answer the questions on the given story

  • speak, answer the questions and give examples from the text

PROCEDURE



  1. Warm up:

In order to create friendly atmosphere in class Teacher asks Students to make a circle and say thank you to each other.

  • Reflecting on the previous lesson

Students discuss the questions:



  1. What is reading? And make questions to the sentences



  1. Group work: Focus on Vocabulary

I group - Make a poster, matching genres with the books
II group -Bank of words

  1. Individual work: Say in ONE WORD (students give the definitions of words from the legend “Kozy Korpesh Bayan Sulu” )

Comb, knife, belt, bookworm, necklace

  1. Speaking. My favorite Character (Bayan, Kozy, Kodar)

  2. Reading the text. “About Kozy”

  3. Listening My favorite Writer Tapescript “ABAI”

Descriptor: 1-listen to the text
2- write out verbs in the past(INSERT)

  1. Focus on grammar. Regular and irregular verbs



  1. Game time- Tennis (students tell the regular and irregular verbs as a tennis players)

  2. Watching video www.bilimland.kz “It’s your turn to make a story”

  3. Home task: My favorite book (students choose one of the tasks)

1-Draw a picture
2-Write the main character
3-summerize the book

  1. Assessment: evaluation with the leaflet

  2. Reflection – who would you be in the fairy tale
