8. The whole movement is repeated until achieved is a moment of lack
of effort to understand what is to be understood. Completion of the process
of understanding. Coming to agreement. Attaining a truth.
From the perspective of the interpreter of understanding, his ability to
understand is fulfilled as follows:
1. Information influence on the part
of the subject matter to be
understood on the interpreter.
2. Collision between the information with the potential knowledge of
the interpreter.
3. The effect of this collision has a hermeneutic nature.
4. A condition for understanding is the presence of fore-knowledge.
5. The fore-knowledge is the basis for construing anticipation of
meaning by the interpreter.
6. The anticipation of meaning is a necessary condition for
understanding.
7. The anticipation of meaning interacts with the new information flow
coming from the subject matter to be understood. Building an agreement.
8. Repeating the action until all information is drawn from the subject
matter to be understood. Completing the process. Coming to agreement.
Attaining a truth.
This is how knowledge is realized in hermeneutics.
However, here added shall be something else
that is important to its
realization. Gadamer's reasoning regarding the basis of the hermeneutical
problem of the polarity between familiarity and strangeness should be
clarified from the perspective of how it is conceived and perceived. This is
what Gadamer himself does. The task must be understood as hermeneutical.
This means, "… in regard to what has been said: the language in which the
text addresses us and engages tradition, in regard to the story that it tells itself
to us"
