The article discusses historical events in the life of the Kazakh people, who lived along the rivers of Elek
and the Yaik in the
ХVІІІ
century, which are reflected in the novel by K. Mukhanbetkaliy "Tar kezen". The writer
created
a vivid image of Syrym Batyr, who led the liberation movement. Historically,
the Kazakh people in the
conditions of the Russian colonial regime experienced a difficult period. The article analyzes the heroic deeds of Syrym
Batyr, sung thanks to the skill of the writer. The fact that the Kazakh people were not a wild, small people is illustrated
by the testimonies of representatives of other peoples described in the novel.
